Here is exactly how a VIAQEX engagement runs, three ways to work with us, how we quote, and the sort of importer we suit best.
The consultation form asks for the product, order size, timeline, IEC status and where you are stuck. It is detailed on purpose, so the first conversation is useful instead of introductory.
A first read of the product: likely sourcing hubs, the regulators that apply, a rough landed-cost picture, and whether it looks worth pursuing. If it is not, we say so.
What we will do, what we will not, who is accountable for each step, and the cost, with supplier cost, freight, duty and our fee on separate lines.
Verification, samples, negotiation, inspection, freight and clearance as scoped, with updates at each stage rather than silence until something breaks.
Goods to your warehouse or 3PL, with the documents, costs and supplier details you need to reorder without us if you choose to.
The framework is the same in every case. Only how much of it you want us to carry changes.
Free guides, calculators and checklists. Use them on your own, and come to us only if and when you need to.
A defined advisory piece, such as a compliance check, supplier verification, or a landed-cost and sourcing plan, scoped and priced on its own.
The full mandate: sourcing through last-mile delivery under one contract, one invoice and one accountable contact.
Supplier cost, freight, duty and our fee shown separately. If a number cannot be explained line by line, we should not be quoting it.
Applicable certifications are checked first, so they never become a surprise at the port.
A named person owns your outcome, rather than a rotating support queue.
If your plan does not make commercial sense, you will hear it from us before you spend money, not after.
Fees are scoped to the work and quoted in writing before anything starts, because a single-product advisory session and a full sourcing-to-delivery mandate are very different jobs. Every quote shows supplier cost, freight, duty and our fee as separate line items, never a single bundled figure.
No. You can use the free guides and tools only, engage us for a defined piece such as supplier verification or a compliance check, or hand over the full mandate. Each stage hands off cleanly to the next.
The more specific, the better: what the product is, a rough order size and budget, the timeline, and where you are stuck. We would rather you send an exact product than a category. Your consultation request form asks for exactly this.
Yes. If the landed cost does not work, the certification burden is out of proportion to the margin, or you would be better off doing it yourself, we will say so, and explain why.
No. We are an advisory and coordination partner. Where licensed functions such as customs clearance or certification are required, we work with licensed professionals and manage the process on your behalf. See our terms for the detail.
Anyone looking for the cheapest possible supplier regardless of compliance, anyone who wants a guarantee of profit, and anyone who needs us to bypass a regulation. We will not help with any of those.
Tell us what you are sourcing and where you are stuck. We will say what we see, and whether we are the right fit.
